This question has been asked just two weeks ago or so. The answer is Yes,
listen-up implements a DAISY2 reader for Linux. Get it from the Speakup
CVS repository.

It's likely I have cvs set up wrong, because when I do cvs checkout
listen-up from the speakup repository I get back message no such server.
