Over the past months many of you have used our installation HOWTO
to install the Speakup Modified Red Hat Distribution. Many of you
have provided suggestions for making this HOWTO even more useful.

Announcing ...

The final, version 1.0 release of the
Speakup Modified Red Hat Distribution Installation HOWTO

If you're not using this version, you need to get this one! Find
it at:

http://www.linux-speakup.org/ftp/disks/redhat/HOWTO_INSTALL.html

What's new in this version?

*	We tell you how to install from our ISO images and how
to install using stock Red Hat media such as you might purchase
at the computer supply store.

*	We tell you how to make an existing installation of Red
Hat 7.X talk with Speakup--without reinstalling.

*	We provide even more hyperlinks to other valuable
information on the net to help you get up to speed with Speakup
and Linux, the most exciting environment for blind computer users
yet.

*	We get you started using Linux after you've installed it.

So, if you're reading this list because you think Linux might be
for you, download or bookmark this document today! We're
dedicated to helping you get Linux working on your own computer
system--without sighted assistance.
