Subject: trying to compile links: OpenSSL
Date: Thu, 23 May 2002 13:35:55 -0500 (CDT)	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <Pine.LNX.4.44.0205231322220.13398-100000@maranatha.chartermi.net> (raw)

I'm trying to compile links. Even though I have the debian openssl package
installed, the ./configure keeps coming back with "checking for OpenSSL" no.
I do notice that at the --with-ssl option in the --help it says (=directory);
I've tried both the directory of the binary and the directory of the conf file
but without success. Does anybody know if I'm missing something I should do here
or if there's more to OpenSSL in debian than just the openssl package?
By the way, it does the --enable-javascript with no problem.
