Hi Shane,
Are you using the -c option? From what I recall, it maps video memory
directly to dosemu. If you don't use it, then I believe dosemu must check
to see if the video memory has changed every so often and refresh your
display when necessary, and it will not happen instantaneously. You might
also want to look at the -k option; it will pass keystrokes directly to
DOS if you are running dosemu from a console.
