The essential linux lists are blinux (hosted by Redhat), speakup (hosted
at http://www.linux-speakup.org), and emacspeak (hosted at
http://emacspeak.sourceforge.net). You might also want to know about
braille support in an interface called brltty (hosted at (hosted at
http://dave.mielke.cc/brltty/--be sure to get the beta if you follow this
link).
Beyond these discussion lists there are several developer resource pages.
