Hi All,

I remember seeing a discussion with a similar subject, but I'm not sure if it
was on this list. If so apologies. Anyway, are there any accessible HTML
editors which run in a Linux/Unix environment. I have a number of text files
which I want to turn into a linked HTML structure, and I'd like to use an
open-source solution rather than using Word, and mounting my Unix directory on
my Windows machine.

Many Thanks,

Tim Pennick

My favroeite HTML editor is vi.

This is not meant to be a flip response. The actual fact of
the matter is that any good text editor will let you create
HTML if you learn the basics of HTML tags. They really aren't
hard and using a text editor gives you the most control over
how you present your material.

elvis should get the job done, emacs can certainly handle the job too.

Absolutely. Use Emacs. It has modes specifically for creation of
structured text documents, including html documents.
