Hi,

A MUD is a fantasy role-playing, multi-user gaming site. You telnet to a
MUD, set up a character, and interact with the other players. There are
even specialized MUD telnet clients; one of these is Tinyfugue. The
specialized clients aren't strictly necessary, but they can help make your
mud sessions easier.
