The modem is in serial port 2. The parameters are 300 baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity, half duplex. The 300 baud speed is standard for this application, since people are just typing. When I do minicom -s as root, I get the message that it cannot find /dev/modem. So how do I make this file? I am using Redhat 7.1. Thanks.
