Hi,
I had the same problem as John.
I took the option of creating another user, as this is the easyest.
What i have read in the process is that the pine program has an option
that can be changed at compile time sothat another from field than the
user
one is logged in as, can be used.
It is seen as a security risk to be able to send
mail from some one else than who you are and is not allowed in the default
compile.
I forgot the detail, but as i under stood it, one would have to
either recompile pine or create another user.
