In addition, it offers gui tools and x-windows. I believe you can choose not to install ny of the X stuff. If you're looking for a talking installer disk, check out the speakup web site They have installation boot floppies for a few Linux distributions. If you have one of the synthesizers supported by Speakup, this should get you started. -Dave
