Richard,
	I am wondering about your distinction between line editors and
visual editors.  I prefer full screen editors such as the edit program
which comes with WP 6.0 in DOS.  I dislike line editors generally.   I
rarely use anything but word processing nowadays even for short batch file
writing and so on.
