Raman To: emacspeak@cs.vassar.edu Cc: raman@Adobe.COM Subject: Emacspeak: Smithsonian Institute Case Study Resent-Date: Tue, 08 Dec 1998 13:57:42 -0500 Resent-From: emacspeak@cs.vassar.edu Friends-- Emacspeak has been picked to become part of the Smithsonian Institute's Innovation collection for next year. I have a very short time to put together a short case study on Emacspeak that will become part of their collection. As part of this case study, I need to include some user feedback which is why I am posting this to the list. Below, I'll attach an introductory paragraph along with the questions I'd like user response for; please get your responses in to me by Sunday, Dec 13. In your response, please clearly indicate if you want your name attached to your feedback or whether you would like to remain anonymous. Introduction: ------------- Computerworld Smithsonian Awards Case Study This case study will be preserved in the Smithsonian Institution's Permanent Research Collection on Information Technology so that future generations may learn about the Information Age from the men and women who are creating this current day revolution. -------------------------------------------------- Here is the section of the case study where I will be incorporating user feedback: -Success Has your project achieved or exceeded its goals? Is it fully operational? How many people benefit from it? If possible, include an example of how the project has benefited a specific individual, enterprise or organization. Please include personal quotes from individuals who have directly benefited from your work. Describe future plans for the project. -- Best Regards, --raman Adobe Systems Tel: 1 408 536 3945 (W14-128) Advanced Technology Group Fax: 1 408 537 4042 W14-128 345 Park Avenue Email: raman@adobe.com San Jose , CA 95110 -2704 Email: raman@cs.cornell.edu http://labrador.corp.adobe.com/~raman/ (Adobe Intranet) http://cs.cornell.edu/home/raman/raman.html (Cornell) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Disclaimer: The opinions expressed are my own and in no way should be taken as representative of my employer, Adobe Systems Inc. ____________________________________________________________ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe or change your address send mail to "emacspeak-request@cs.vassar.edu" with a subject of "unsubscribe" or "help"
