Subject: Magnification under Linux (Console and X)
Date: Sat, 7 Nov 1998 15:20:58 +0100 (CET)	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <Pine.LNX.3.96.981107151147.9086A-100000@sky.lucy.diamond> (raw)

Hello.
A friend of mine (visually handicaped) is interested in installing Linux.
So now I would like to know if there are any magnification packages for
Linux. He told me, he would need magnification-level of 2/1 - 4/1 (depends
on which monitor he uses).
Is there something out there which can be used for COnsole and X or just
for X...
SOme general info on magnification-software for Linux and a pointer to a
download-location would be great.

BTW: I'm currently working on my Site (www.delysid.org) and it will
contain
Linux-information as well as a accessibility-section unter Linux.

Regards,
          Mario
