Hello There:
	I just would like to thank all the help received for getting the
ppp acount running with pap working.  I was successful at the start of the
week.  I followed Dave Hunt's instructions and it worked like a charm.  
	I also fixed my email problem dating 5 or 6 months now.  I mainly
had to add a few more hostnames to the hosts file and it works like a
dream.  Of course it took me endless hours to figure this out and it was
only by fluke that I tried it.  Not many people may remember, but this was
the fetchmail error reporting smtp onection to (null) failed.  Well at any
rate, it works now and I'm happy.  I can finally read my mail with a good
mail reader.  
My next step is getting emaspeak 3working.

Martin,

I'm pleased to have been able to help wtih one of your problems.
Sounds like you've had a great week:).  One question:  Why are you
trying to use such an old version of Emacspeak?  Not sure I've even
seen Ver.3.
