Subject: UltraSonix package NOT yet ported to Linux
Date: Wed, 9 Oct 1996 22:32:14 +0200 (MET DST)	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <Pine.LNX.3.94.961009222228.4511G-100000@goldfish.cube.net> (raw)

Dear Blinux subscriber,

to clarify: the UltraSonix package available is NOT
a working port to Linux. It is written for SPARCstation

But if you know how to port such a beast, contact Brian
for further action.

Hans

Hello -
Sorry if you guys see this twice...

I just want folks o understand that the UltraSonix sources
cited above are not really the Linux port of UltraSonix. These sources
are the original sources written for a SPARCstation + Solaris.
There is a project under way to port these sources to Linux, but
it has only just begun.
  Hope this helps...

Brian.
