Dear blinux subscriber,

thanks to Alexandre Khalil <iskandar@ee.tamu.edu> 
and other blinux activists, blinux-list now
has its own FTP site! (loud fanfare sounds:)

The FTP address is: 
    leb.net/incoming/blinux  (for uploading new stuff)
    leb.net/pub/blinux       (for downloading)

for WWW users: 
   ftp://leb.net/incoming/blinux  
   ftp://leb.net/pub/blinux

The maintainer of the blinux hierarchy is

This place will be ideal to concentrate blind support
software and information. Now you won't have to surf
the net to get the newest stuff in blind support.


If you have  

   *blind support software packages for Linux 
   
   *software which might be used as 
   basis of new blind support software
   (voice, synthesizer, scanner, neuronal network) 
   
   *info files focusing on blind support for Linux

and your IP packet volume invoice is still too low this month, 
improve it and send your good stuff to the incoming address :)

lynnux braille on the web and for ftp

One of the things gregory and I have been cicking around is putting
braille on the web for direct display/reading with braille displays and
download.  we can also make ready to emboss braille available in the
archived ftp.  We'd like input on specifications for the displayed
matterial and for the archive.  what language, page dimentions, grade 1 or
two and so on.  Please direct input to the list or:
