okay okay, but for most poeple linux is just the kernel including what
programs they can get for it.
btw, I did say that linxu was a kindof unix and what GNU stands for.
I only gave a general verview.

Hven't worked wiht BSD systems so I can't compare.

Apart from that, for x86 boxes there's not much choice apart from linux and
bsd.

btw, other people would disagree wiht you that linxu is a unix. But please
don't start any OS-conflict here.
