Hi, Samba is only on toppic if you want to access your Linux Share to your Windows machine. For mail (if you use Pop3-gateway and proxy, like Squid) you only needs good settings for the IP- Connection and Terminal-emulation, if you want to access the console from a remote location. Good luck! Hello! I really don't know much about Samba (the only thing i knew is that it comunicates with nt serversw). Well now i am about to install readhat and use it as a mailserver. But my normal computer is a windows2000 machine. Do i ever have to use Samba? Is it possible to run with screenreaders? Thanks in advance. /Anders. ********************************************************************** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
