I forgot to mention in the previous mail that before running the Xconfigurator, all the data was collected and I used the settings accordingly. Same situation for the monitor. Luckily, my friend was smart enough to keep all the docs shipped with his original machine. I would love to run Xconfigurator again. The only problem is that he is not running a speech install and nothing is coming up on the screen. I think I'll probably have to reinstall. It might just be worthwhile to spend the time to do the installation again. I'l do some reading on the net. Thanks for the suggestions.
