Use ubuntu mate 19.10, at start it offer speech output if you wait, after
install use the windows key to open the menu, type mate-tweak and seek to
add compiz, it will give an on demand zoom and control inversion, windows
key + mouse scroll for zoom, Windows key + M or N for color inversion,
gnome-orca is present by default, extra gain it has a good support for
nvidia optimus, ...

Do you mean Ubuntu 18.04.3? I haven't tried this version yet, but I got
Orca going on an 18.04.1 install a while ago by just hitting the key
sequence to start Orca, namely alt+super+s. BTW, this is the same as
alt+windows+s.

Hi,

To get orca running, first do you have auto login or do you have to enter a
password? If you have a password than you should be able to just press
ault supper s and orca should come up talking. I think this works after
login as well but don't remember as it's been sometime since I did an
install of ubuntu system. Not sure off the top of my head but there is a
ubuntu accessibility list which should help with what you want.

HTH.

Mathew.

Ubuntu mate 19.10 isn't the same as Ubuntu, it use Mate while default
Ubuntu use Unity or Gnome.
