There is a really good hard-drive partitioning program out there named
"partition magic". It is produced by powerquest and the have a dos, windows
3.1, and windows 95 version. The program runs around $40.00 and is very
stable. I have never had to backup my system before doing this and it lets
youresize existing partitions, move partitions around, create partitions out
offree space and more. Very slick and very accessible with speech, (the Dos
version that is). The windows version uses graphics tables. If you buy it on
the cd, you will get the dos version with it. It's better than mips because
you don't have to destroy any data and you don't have to spend hours backing
upyour system. Mind you, I probably should.

Hi Jim,
I would be interested in getting a copy of your information on
partitioning for Dos and Linux.
thanks,
