You are confusing two different topics: There are screen readers for FreeBSD, but this does not automatically mean that you can do a fresh install of the Operating System using that screen reader. Remember Windows, there are actually several screen readers for Windows, but you are still not able to install a new Windows System with the help of just such a product. 2. Yes, there are screen readers for FreeBSD. yasr is supposed to work with FreeBSD. BRLTTY was recently ported to OpenBSD, so it might work on FreeBSD also with maybe just minor modifications.
