Hello, list!
Since Midnight Commander does not seem to work with Braille well, I am
in search for stand alone Braille friendly console file manger. I would
like to find something like file browser buit in in Vim.
I installed Vifm, but it does not seem to work with Braille either.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Might not be the most useful reply, especially since I'm not a Braille
user, but I've long been content with the combination of ls, mv, cp,
rm, mkdir, rmdir, du, and wc for my file management needs.

vifm comes to mind along with pilot. I think I remember fmclone too. I
may not have that last one right, so search for clone when looking for
that one and you'll probably come up with it. Another one vsweep may be
available, and finally ranger though for me ranger was a bit more
complex to use. I hope this helps. I don't like multiple panels or
windows in any application I use not good for my mental focus.

Tim here. While I'm not a Braille user, I'll throw a couple more
suggestions on the table as, well, they're free, so you're welcome to
try them and see if any of them work for you. In addition to
Midnight Commander and "vifm", there's "ranger" (which I've seen
mentioned elsewhere on this thread and may or may not be very
accessible) as well as "nnn" (https://github.com/jarun/nnn) which
looks like it might be more Braille-friendly.
If you're an emacs user, there's dired mode. Additionally, there's
edbrowse which is a bit opaque but should certainly be
Braille-friendly.
That said, for most file management, I just use the shell (cd, cp,
mv, rename, etc). The only time I end up wanting a "real" file
manager is when I have a large collection of files where I can't
easily choose based on a glob. For those occasions, I tend to use
lynx in dired mode.

Good evening everyone I’ve spent much of the afternoon coming down to
organizations that I deal with how holy, because it reported to me that
my domain and sent them spam. This has occurred without my knowledge.
So now what I’m going to do is see if I can get some help setting up
DNS services Andy can email server and just do it on the cloud-based
Lenox space that I’m already paying for. But distribution that I have
on the cloud-based Linux server is Fadora core.
Sup anyone who would like to help certainly posed here, and I will be in
touch as they say in the deaf blind world.
This all started when I signed up for service with a big domain
registrant. Unfortunately I did advertising from them every day and now
I find out that their spamming to organizations and two very different
fields but the organizations are very prominent in their fields. You
certainly don’t spam the American radio relay league, and you don’t
send spam to NFB. Just as soon as I get this set up, goodbye very large
company cancel my service! This is not the first flurry of reports about
this and I did mention it to them this past summer. But it sadly appears
that the big huge company doesn’t care.
Mike you very much for reading this.

Hi, Brian:
My domain, rednote.net, has been hosted on Linode for a decade or more
now. While I'm a speech user, I see no reason why braille only should be
a problem for managing a Linode presence--at least not a Linux machine.
Frankly, I have generally used Lynx to access my Linode management
console.
I'm sorry I don't recall what your problem is. I understand you posted
previously, but I didn't pay much attention because the message appeared
to me to be about braille, not about Linode itself, or about how to
manage services on Linode.
I'm happy to provide suggestions if you care to restate the problem.

Hello Janina,
My problems are I am too old and too fat, lol.
I was not posting about a problem; I was just answering somebody who wanted suggestions.
I don't know anything about linode; what can it do for me or vise versa?
I see your name on #a11y irc. I use the nickname lag.

OK, so I missed the focus ig time. Sorry about that!
To answer your question, Linode is a data center company that sells VPS.
linode.com
It advertises itself as:
Cloud Hosting for Developers
High performance SSD Linux servers for all of your infrastructure
needs.
So, I was respond re the subject asking for help with dns and mx in a
cloud service. That's how I use my linode vps, hosting my rednote.net
domain there with several services including running my own dns (my
personal choice, I could use Linode's dns), and my own MTA, my own
set of virtual web hosts with Apache, my own SIP phones with
Asterisk, etc., etc.
If you sign up, tell them janina@rednote.net sent you.

Prices start at $5 /er month and go up depending on what resources you
want. It's all clearly explained on the Linode home page:
