well for now we can forget skype for linux.
there's no indication that it's a console app and further more, it uses 
qt and not gtk so we're out of luck until kde's accessability is in 
place.

I'd expact it never to be console anyway.

I'm still trying to setup asterisk for FreeWorldDialup usage.

I was, and am probably still going to look at it. However, the fact that it 
uses QT is quite a turnoff.
