Hi,
	Has anyone got alsaplayer going on rh9? I've got the rpms installed, but
when i try to use it i get a bunch of errors about the snd devices. I am
using oss with my card, but i thought the rpms installed a compatibility
module.
	I'm still trying to find that network mp3 player. So far i might be able
to script a front-end to mplayer, I'm wondering if alsaplayer has
playlist capabilities, shuffle abilities, or networkability?

I don't believe you can use the alsamixer with the oss sound drivers.

OSS doesn't provide ALSA emmulation. It's the other way around. ALSA
provides OSS emmulation.
