Subject: aumix bass

Message-ID: <200207091256.GAA06333@nyx.nyx.net> (raw)
I would like to reduce the bass and/or increase trebble.
I have tried everything I can think of like:
aumix -b----
aumix -b 100
aumix -b100,100P
and so forth.
Also tried these with the save option.
Nothing seems to work.
aumix -b q
gives me 234, 255
no matter what I do.
My hearing is about shot in high frequencies, so I want to see
if more trebble may help me understand speech better.
Using redhat 7.1.
If you can make your bass actually change, please tell me how.
