If you want to repartition a drive that's currently in use and it's not a system disk then unmount the partitions, and do the usual thing. I do that all the time for removable cartridges in 1.5GB SyQuest drive. Never reboot, it would be annoying if that were a requirement and I would go away from such a poor OS that requires it right away. ... deleted the rest of previous messages -- Rafael
