It shows what came back--the last time, and what I sent. The system wants a subscription in the form: Subscribe [password] [digest|nodigest]-options address= Now, I have tried many forms of this, and nothing works. Being an intelligent person who has been onmany lists, including this one, I have to conclude that this Newbie list is not very well designed for newbies! Even after getting the help message, the syntax is still not clear, and I still cannot get subscribed. I have to wonder how anyone does. If you have not personally had experience with this nonstandard format on a list, then you may not understand the problem. If you get a chance to try it, let me know if you can make it work, and what syntax you used.
