There is a user group 30 miles away in Monterey, but when contacted, they declined to be of any help. The person directing the group says I chose the wrong version of Linux--that I should have chosen Correl, that Red Hat is one of the worst versions to use, and they would not help. I tried to access Slackware.com via FTP, but I keep failing the login. The password will not accept guest. What does it take to get by it? My FTP server is so old, that it will not accept the address supplied. It demands the location and port only after the OPEN command.
