Subject: emacspeak accent driver and chaging the speech rate
Date: Sat, 4 Jul 1998 08:43:32 +1000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <199807032243.IAA09479@starburst.intranet.au> (raw)
Hi all
Is anyone else using the accent driver for emacspeak?
I'm having a problem trying to change the speech rate. As far as i can tell from the manual, to change the speech rate in emacspeak, I do ctrl-e d r, then type in a new value. hit enter. and it should change.
I type in the new value, hit enter and the rate doesn't change at all.
am I missing something obvious here?
thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Regards Nick
