I just fell into the commercial mindset on documentation, which
is an error. I apologize. Here's what we need to do:
1) Decide what freely distributable utilities are useful for Linux
2) Define how a Linux (and FreeBSD/NetBSD) should install including
the selected utilities and document the "ideal" installation and
configuration procedure
3) Get a vendor or vendors (or anyone) to provide a script or utility
to install their distribution including the Blinux packages using
the defined installation and configuration. That is, the documentation
serves as the design specification.
If the Blinux list will provide step 1, I will undertake step 2, consulting
with the Blinux list as I do so. Then I'll be happy to assist with getting
step 3 to happen.
