Hey everyone.
I was going to put a fresh install of Redhat 5 on a box, but noticed that
RH5 ships with Emacs 20. The EmacSpaek documentations says that early
support for Emacs 20 is available. Does this mean Emacs 20 specific
features, or the entire package? Can I run EmacSpeak on Emacs 20 with no
problems? If this is not the case, I'll need to get someone sighted to
help remove the RPM and load up the 19.X RPM from the RH4 CD I have around
here some place. Thanks for the info.
Bryan

You can "upgrade" to an old package easily, by doing:
rpm -U --oldpackage emacs-xxx*.rpm
or
rpm -U --force emacs-xxx*.rpm
I hope this won't be necessary, though.
To get extensive help on rpm, just do
rpm --help | less

I have been using emacspeak 7.0 with emacs 20 for over three
months-- there is no need to go back to emacs 19 if any
linux system has emacs 20 pre-installed.
