Hello,
I do'nt know where else to ask, some pointers please?
I am using ncsatelnet to access a linux box over ethernet at work.
We now got sun solaris2.6 and the same program, ncsa telnet, does not
want to back space wen i am telnetting into the solaris machine.
It puts the caret h charactor on the screen without performing the erase
action.
The TERM variable is set to vt100.
i have played arround with some stty settings, but could only succeed
in not getting the caret h displayed. it still does not erase the previously
typed charactor.
Where can i find info on this problem?
thanks for any tips,
greetings, Willem
