Subject: Accessibility of Redhat 7.2
Date: Fri, 16 Nov 2001 13:25:43 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <01a101c16ecc$1be598e0$e08caad8@tds.net> (raw)
Hello,
I've just been looking at the Redhat site. They make a lot of the GUI in
Redhat 7.2. It uses Gnome 1.4. I assume the GUI is inaccessible for now. Can
it do anything that you can't do in console mode? Is the Mozilla browser
usable in console mode?
I will have to start my installation with a floppy, since I can't boot from
my cd-rom. Does the disk set that Redhat sells for $60 include an
installation boot floppy? Can I add brltty to that floppy so I can have
Braille output as soon as possible?
Thanks a lot.
John
