sorry, it won't work. i used to use a crappy sollution though, but only if you have 2 computers and are willing to sacrofice
once to act as half an express , no handshakkng indexing etc.
you should really ask this on the speak list though.

	Will the dectalk pc work with speakup?
I'm on a list where someone is selling one, and I really like dectalks, but
my express's cable has a broken connector and isn't long enough to get
behind my computer. It works with my laptop though. What kind of cable and
connectors should I get that'll work, would radio shack have them?

I have a laptop and an express, what would you need the other machine for?
Use the laptop with dectalk access 32 and some how get it in a mode
appropriate for setting the other system's console to the port the laptop
is on?
