I was wondering if someone would tell me how to re-install grub or to re-createthe grub.conf file for fidora core 1.0.

Hi Rock,
If grub really went away I'm pretty sure you can use Update Agent to
get it. Try up2date grub.
To build the file, I get the impression we can run grub and tell it to
write a file based on the currently running system. So far I haven't
gone through the info grub topic, but that'd be the place to start.
